Statement on the Passing of Victor Navasky

Our country has lost a great writer and public citizen. Victor Navasky, long time editor of The Nation Magazine, author of memorable books of truth about important issues, and a former first-class satirist, passed away at age 90. A great American fighter for a just society and a non-stop defender of the underdogs.
