Open Letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook on Charitable Donations

Dear Tim Cook,

The other day I received a solicitation call from Oxfam, the well-regarded global charity dealing with epidemics of hunger in afflicted countries. The gentleman informed me that, in the east African countries suffering from drought, a human being dies from starvation about every 75 seconds. You make $833 a minute based on a 40-hour work week.

For starters, would you please devote one minute of your compensation package to Oxfam?
